It was designed to be platform-independent, robust, and secure. It is a great idea to have an operating system, which fits your goal perfectly. Want to build in Xcode for Mac, iPhone, and iPad? You will need a Mac.

Note down that Linux can run on almost all hardware systems but it’s good to buy laptops that have the official Linux support. Many vendors, like Dell, offer the top quality device with pre-installed Linux. Make sure you look at those first.

Better to do complete research to ensure that the laptop you plan to buy plays very well with the preferred Linux distributions.

Storage
It’s a very important criterion for selecting a good laptop for programming. You must go with SSD storage because the read and write speed on SSD is very fast. This will definitely help you run and develop applications faster.

Battery
Though battery life might not play an important role if you are spending most of the time near the power outlet. But, shoot for 6 hours battery life at least.

I frequently get this question, so I thought I'd share a few ideas that have worked for me.


1. A scheduled interview with a company you truly want to work for can motivate you more than anything.


2. The green GitHub and Leetcode graphic was fantastic. Any white holes irritated me.


3. To help me imagine myself in that position and motivate me to work towards it, I used to watch videos of corporate tours, joining kits, unboxings, and everything else that was available on YouTube.


4. A few pages of a self-help book before night can really assist you get in the right frame of mind for the following day. (I read the article "The Magic of thinking big")


5. I frequently visit LinkedIn, and as a result, I I came across a tonne of joining posts, but instead of feeling envious, I was inspired by them. I read over their profiles and discovered that many of them, like myself, are graduates of tier-3 colleges with relevant experience. If they can succeed, I know I can too.


6. Self-confidence. I made a tonne of mistakes! But deep down, I knew I could do it and would eventually show up. You may bounce back from failures by believing in yourself and your skills.


7. I used the Todo app to plan out my hours for the following day every night.


Choose a game that interests you and get ready to code. I recommended that you try creating these projects on your own rather than simply copying the source code. So, you’ll gain hands-on experience with essential programming concepts that can help you develop a strong foundation for future projects.
